Coinciding ideally with the inauguration of the new Airside Center, SWISS's refurbished lounges in Zurich Airport's Terminal 1 have reopened for business. The new-look lounges offer customers even more comfort, calm and practical working facilities than before. They also boast, as something of a centrepiece, probably the longest lounge bar in the airline world, with a length of 28.6 metres, which offers customers a fabulous view out over the airport and its bustling operations. |

Following complex negotiations, SWISS has signed a term sheet for a CHF 325 million secured credit facility with an international banking syndicate. The consent of various third parties must still be obtained before a definitive credit agreement can be concluded and the credit will be made available. |

SAS Air Mail, a division under SAS Cargo, has signed a two-year agreement with Post Danmark (the Danish national mail company) about transportation of its global letter mail. The contract is regarding transportation of approximately 2,100 tons letters annually transported from Copenhagen to about 180 different countries. |
